After a little hiatus, the notorious Summer Sizzler Competition has returned. The Down East Alers will once again be hosting this event in the illustrious eastern part of North Carolina. Our competition is a AHA/BJCP sanctioned event and apart of the Southeastern Homebrewers Association 2016 Schedule. The event will follow the 2015 BJCP Guidelines. We look forward to bring this competition back and seeing everyone again

Rules For This Competition
|
- No entries accepted on day of competition
- 3 - 12oz bottles for each entry
- Bottles should be free from identifying marks such as raised lettering on the bottle
- Bottle caps must be free of writing or label. If cap has writing or label, it should be blacked out by a black marker prior to entry
- Judges and Stewards will earn BJCP experience points.
- Bottle labels should be securely affixed with a rubber band.
- Entries can be hand carried and dropped off at one of the drop off location(s) specified below
